The genius of Van Morrison
The music was incredible. Tuba Skinny has an amazing, strong voice. He began playing at 8 SHARP and ended at 9:30 SHARP. The sound at the amphitheater was wonderful. No 'hello' or 'thank you' or even a 'good night' from Tuba, however. No encores were given. He didn't even introduce his amazing band.
The crowd was my only complaint. There was so much movement among the crowd. People walking around, getting up to dance by their seat. The big screens were helpful but you couldn't really see them till it got dark, which was around 9. It was impossible to see the stage at times.
I could have listened to him all night. I wanted more. 90 minutes seemed just too short.
